Si Lolita - Love The Bottle, But Not The Scent
By PerfumeFan
I admit that I fell in love with the bottle at first glance. Seeing the four leaf clover crystal decant accented with gold trimmings on the edges, I just couldn’t help but desire Si Lolita. Looking at the lovely pink juice that sparkles inside, I surmise that the notes straddle between floral-fruity.
When I opened the bottle, I was in for a surprise. My nose tells me that there’s a certain spicy note that mingles among the bed of wonderful accords inside. And so the secret unfolds, the spicy fragrance emanates from the sweet pea.
Si Lolita is composed of pink peppercorn and orange blossoms at the top; the middle combines sweet pea and heliotrope; and the base features spicy elemi gum, amber, patchouli and Tonka bean. My impression of the scent: citrusy sweet sprinkled with spice. There’s nothing really extraordinary about Si Lolita. The bottle, yes it’s fabulous. Even the campaign ad is scintillating and drool-worthy (for the guys, especially).
Comparing Si Lolita with the first fragrance,Lolita Lempicka, I’ll take the latter in a heartbeat. I love the crisp floral fragrance - deliciously sweet and very pleasant.
Would you buy a perfume just because the bottle is pretty?
